David and Lindsay’s love story began long before their wedding day. They met at church when they were in 5th grade where a sweet friendship blossomed. In 2010, things took a turn for the sweeter when David asked Lindsay to be his girlfriend. The two grew in love and life together through high school and then college. It was easy for David and Lindsay to see what forever together would look like since both of their parents and grandparents were high school sweethearts. And two days after they wed, they celebrated their 7 year anniversary. Needless to say, David and Lindsay have spent most of their lives growing together in love and their wedding celebrated just that.
David and Lindsay created a classic and elegant day for their guests at Glendalough Manor in Peachtree City, Georgia. After a romantic and heartfelt garden ceremony, David and Lindsay danced the night away with their loved ones to music curated by a 15 piece band. The men wore white coats, the women were classic in their Adrianna Pappell bridesmaids dresses. Lindsay of course was a dream, glowing with joy and love as she and David began a new chapter of their love story.
Lindsay designed the invitations and did all the signage for their wedding. We were so impressed with her talent and creativity!
Lindsay and David’s first look. David could not stop telling Lindsay how beautiful she was.
Did we mention our love for peonies in a bouquet? We love them almost as much as we love Adriana Pappell!
Does it get any cuter than a ring bearer in a white tux and flower girls wearing flower crowns??? We don’t think so!
Such a good looking and fun bridal party! We loved the girls dresses and the boy’s white jackets. They were perfect for Lindsay and David’s timeless wedding vibe.
Lindsay asked that she have a first look with her grandfather as well. It was one of the sweetest moments of the day!
Gorgeous gardens at Glendalough Manor. It’s always nice when nature provides such a stunning backdrop.
We loved how much David and Lindsay included family in their ceremony. It certainly added some cute moments of the kiddos!
Lindsay’s sweet Pawpaw walked her down the aisle. Their relationship is so precious and he was beyond proud to give Lindsay away that day.
David and Lindsay asked for timeless portraits. We’re positive their grandchildren will still be swooning over these beauties.
These gorgeous florals had our heads spinning. Everywhere we looked there was beauty!
The 15 piece Peachtree Jazz Edition band played big band music all night and the dance floor was always full!
During his speech, David’s brother spoke of the time Lindsay dyed her hair blonde in high school. They went to dinner with Davids family, including his grandparents. During dinner, David’s grandfather seemed pretty out of sorts and upset. Lindsay finally said “Pawpaw, why are you being so mean?” and at once he began to laugh. When he heard Lindsay’s voice he knew it was her and not a new girl David had brought to family dinner. Needless to say, Pawpaw is a big fan of Lindsay whether she’s a blonde or brunette!
Being part of David and Lindsay’s love story was a blessing. Their wedding day left us feeling refreshed and in complete awe of the love and support surrounding the newly weds. From the details to the dancing, David and Lindsay’s classically stunning wedding will be hard to forget!
