“She would tell him what she wanted in her life–her hopes and dreams for the future–and he would listen intently and then promise to make it all come true. And the way he said it made her believe him, and she knew how much he meant to her.”
-Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
There are few things in this life that give you an overwhelming feeling of happiness. Most of the time those moments come spontaneously and leave us feeling like we were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. When we showed up to do a styled shoot with Savannah Wedding Dreams, we knew that the details would be stunning and the vendors would be incredible. We also knew that the theme of this shoot would be based off the ever romantic book turned movie “The Notebook.” What we didn’t know, and what made us very happy, was we would be shooting a real life couple who will be married in May. Add true authentic love to an already romantic setting and we were in our element!
Kaylen and Trent, the couple we worked with, were lovely and the combined vendors made for an incredible day of shooting. Everything really came together for this Notebook inspired vintage shoot and we could not be happier about the results. We hope these photos inspire you to find beauty in the simple things and always seek the happiness that surrounds you!
Incredible floral arrangements by New Life Florals. They were so delicate and made for the perfect vintage flare. Luckily, you will see their talent scattered through this shoot!
You can’t have vintage southern charm without a couple of classic Coke’s!
Kaylen’s gorgeous gown was borrowed from That Dress Shop. We were in love with the vintage lace detailed back and classic silhouetted skirt.

These gorgeous vintage pieces were sourced from Pretty Vintage. Savannah Wedding Dreams did an incredible job designing the perfect vintage table that made Simply Southern’s food almost look too good to eat!

We loved the simplicity of these fruit infused water coolers!
Sweet little florals in the perfect vintage glasses!
These were hard to look at and not eat! Savannah’s Drunken Cupcake created the perfect vintage inspired flavored cupcakes! The glass cake stands complimented these sweet treats perfectly!
Gorgeous fresh florals on a simple white cake might be one of our favorite things.
Vintage details made us feel all kinds of nostalgic.
